In July 2026, Medical Design Lab welcomed three interns from the University of California, Los Angeles(UCLA), through the UCLA Summer Internship Program operated by CRCC Asia.
The interns, all with engineering backgrounds, will learn Biodesign methodology while working on challenges in the medical device and healthcare fields. Based in Kobe over approximately two months, they will participate in projects that include dialogue with clinical professionals and hands-on fieldwork.
Through collaboration with young talent bringing global perspectives and engineering expertise, we aim to cultivate a space where new ideas can emerge — together.

2026年7月、Medical Design Lab は、CRCC Asia が運営する UCLAサマーインターンシッププログラムを通じて、 カリフォルニア大学ロサンゼルス校(UCLA)から3名のインターン生を受け入れました。
参加する学生は、いずれもエンジニアリング領域を専攻し、 バイオデザインの手法を学びながら、医療機器・ヘルスケア分野の課題に取り組みます。 3名は約2ヶ月間の滞在期間中、神戸を拠点として、 実際の医療現場との対話やフィールドワークを通じた プロジェクトに参加する予定です。
私たちは、グローバルな視点と工学的なバックグラウンドを持つ 若い才能との協働を通じて、 新しい発想が生まれる場を共に育てていきたいと考えています。
